About Ali Kazemi
Ali Kazemi is a veteran tech lawyer with over 20 years of legal and policy experience, having held senior roles at Google, the US Department of Justice and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, as well as several technology startups as General Counsel including Squarespace and Synchron. His experience spans everything from advising startups in high-value acquisitions and distressed exits, leading VC financings (Seed through D), preparing Alphabet C-suite executives for congressional testimony, and serving as a federal prosecutor in several high-profile national security and cybercrime trials. Ali has also been a guest lecturer at NYU Law, where he taught classes on startup law, copyright law, and CDA Section 230.
Ali graduated with honors from NYU Law and Duke University.
